Three roles
A person in a clinic is an admin, a doctor, or a receptionist. Admins run the clinic including its subscription, doctors do clinical work, and receptionists run the front desk.
Roles are per clinic. Being an admin of one clinic gives no standing in another.
Inviting someone
Invitations go by email as a single-use link that expires. The invitation must be accepted using the address it was sent to, so a forwarded link does not become an account.
The person can sign in or create an account with that address, and joins the clinic at the role you chose.
What only an admin can do
Starting or changing the Cerawave subscription is admin-only. Doctors and receptionists can see what the clinic is on but cannot commit it to a recurring charge.
Committing the practice to a bill is an owner decision, so the restriction is enforced by the server and not only hidden in the interface.
Common questions
- How many staff can I add?
- Unlimited on both plans. Cerawave charges per clinic, not per person.
- Can a receptionist change the subscription?
- No. They can see the current plan, but starting or changing it requires an admin.
